ACES "The Annual Conference for Engineering Students", is a simulation for real life experience; changing an ordinary engineering student to an extraordinary one. The first conference held in the faculty of engineering Ain Shams University for the benefit of engineering students all over Egypt. Bridging the academic and professional life, ACES unlocks the door to an intensive exposure, enriching both the mentalities and characters of the engineering students, providing Students with hands on practical experience and knowledge.

ACES has spent five whole years of hard work and continuous achievements through the last five conferences held from 2005 till 2009, which is expected to continue and keep nourishing in the upcoming years. Through these years ACES has developed from being the 1st engineering conference in Ain Shams University to a large expanding community with growing activities; taking its position as an inspiration and a good example to other starting activities and similar development initiatives all over Egypt.

ACES is a market oriented human development activity, so after researching the market needs of the multi-national companies, as a universal standard, ACES academic supervisors developed training courses focusing on the life-long learning skills required.

This year, 2010, ACES aspires for change and more organizational and service maturity ... That's why ACES is having a more mature and a clearer purpose/reason for existence; which is "Enriching Mentalities by Exposure, all to raise the Engineering Students' Standards".
Our vision is guarded by three main Core Values; which are Integrity, Passion and Efficiency .
The impact of the conference goes beyond the participants and delegates, and it will continue to inspire other entities to act in a proactive manner for the good of the community.
