The 6th Annual Conference for Engineering Students - ACES 2010 proudly announces the launch of "Juniors Track" What's "Juniors Track" ?

A track where high school students join the fantastic journey of self discovery; having the opportunity to explore the different walks of you as a person, unleash your creativity, expand your knowledge boundaries and enjoy the learning experience.

It's basically conductell getd as part of the main activities of ACES that include interaction, experiential learning and fun ! Why should I join "Juniors' Track" ?

By joining juniors' track, youll get access to the following benefits:

Tell me more about the Track!! What are the activities?

The track is mainly composed of 2 things:

1. Rkae'z Workshop

   5 consecutive sessions of interactive learning experience followed by a 3 day conference by the end of March.
   This workshop will graduate socially responsible students, aware and confident of their own potentials, more specific and determined on their future paths. In other words, this workshop is bringing to light the promising new generation's leaders. The main idea of the conference is "Creating Videos" through which students could spread positive thoughts and offer solutions to problems facing their community as teens, and then showing those videos at the conference.

2. Juniors Activities

   A package of interesting activities that include training modules and open sessions about interesting topics like goal setting and getting , self discovery and interpersonal skills , given by ACES trainers and professional speakers ..Meeting up with young leaders and professionals and listening to your success stories .. Going on field trips to inspiring places that help broaden one's imagination and open him up to new ideas and experiences!

How will you reach students?
The "Juniors" recruitment campaign will start by holding school visits to around 10 top secondary schools in Cairo, where 10 to 15 top students will be selected from each school to join Rkae'z workshop and Juniors activities. In addition to the online campaign where any student can apply online through ACES website and attend the assessment . So feel free to invite your friends to the event and to the website !

Assessment ! What do you mean by Assessment ?
In order to select eligible students to join Rka'ez workshop and juniors activities, students should fill the registration form through the website , followed by attending an assessment , where you'll be evaluated and directed to the best activity based on your score , interest and commitment.

I want to apply, but I'm worried about the time and duration of the sessions!
Well, Rka'ez sessions will take place for 5 consecutive Fridays starting 19/2/2010 from 10 am till 3 pm , the conference will be held by the end of March for whole 3 days. So nothing to worry about if you plan for your time well !!
If you can't commit to attending all sessions then you should sign up for " Juniors' Activities " where you'll be frequently updated with events and sessions and you'll get the chance to decide which ones to join!
